Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Daily prayer for June 22

The institution of the feast of the Sacred Heart has begun to create among the faithful a powerful current of devotion that has since become stronger. The first office and the Mass of the Sacred Heart were composed by St. John Eudes, but the institution of the feast was the result of the apparitions of our Lord to St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque in 1675, to whom was revealed the most ardent love coming from the wound of this merciful and always open Heart. In the daily  prayer for June 22, we ask this loving heart to renew hope in us.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the Throne of Divine Mercy, revealed to the world in the passion, death and resurrection of Christ, from which flows the key to deep adoration and a more intimate and personal relationship with God.

Daily Devotion for June, 22.

"I promise you in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my almighty love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the first Fridays of nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they will not die in my misfortune, even without receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart will be their safe refuge in this last moment". (Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary).

For the daily devotion for June 22, we ask God that his love may flow in us as he renews our lost hope.

Daily Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

For the daily prayer for June 22, we want to restore that hope that we see clouded and do not know how to recover. May God fill our hearts with new hope so that we can look to the future with greater confidence.

My Lord, I need your help to remain calm and in the present hope that everything will improve. I know that the anxieties and worries about the future world are behind every door I open, and that every decision I make will have an impact on my home along with mine. But I trust you not to lose hope.

Help me to take advantage of all this, of those sufferings and anguish for not knowing how to fix my steps and transform it into something good by your powerful action. I want to keep faith in perspective, to be aware that you are real and present, never absent. Take my anguish and transform it into a reason to live with greater strength. Open my eyes and teach me a better way to live.

O Father of goodness, thank you for staying by my side now, for loving me with the same love with which you love your beloved Son Jesus. It is my greatest privilege to be your son. I will bless you Lord with all my soul because you forgive all my betrayals, my bad words, anger, lack of faith and commitment. I will never forget the benefits of having you as a close Father and friend.

Every good and perfect gift comes from You Lord, I have no doubt that this lack of hope was not sown by You, but by my little faith and the temptations of the enemy who does not want peace in my heart, because he knows that having peace, I will always have You in my life.

Lift me up today, Lord, lift me up to life and health, to hope and trust in your love, to the tenderness and comfort of your embrace, to the goodness emanating from your sweet and holy face. You are my hope and my strength. I will follow you wherever your will takes me. I will walk with incredible faith this day having your Sacred Heart as my own.

Those who seek to harm me will not triumph over me. Hopelessness, sorrow, anguish or illness will not triumph over me either. For I have made You a dwelling place. I was created by You to fulfill holy purposes, of glory and power, I am a victor since I was conceived in my mother´s womb. I was created to be victorious.

Remember me Lord, in every moment of my life, I am Your humble servant. I present to you all that is good in me, with its ups and downs. I present to you today this lack of hope. There are times when I feel powerless, weak, and unwilling to even think. I pray that you will instil in me a spirit of trust and increase my hope. I need hope for a better future, for a better life, I was made by You for love and goodness and that is what I want to leave as a legacy.

Everything seems dark Lord, I need your light in all areas of my life. I pray, through the holy wounds of Jesus, that I may be filled with the strength of your Light, from head to foot, so that I may enjoy a full life, fill me with your glory, know that everything will be fine in each of the steps I will take in this world, because You have planned everything well, and You want me to be fulfilled in each thing that happens to me

Help me to have hope, Lord, to live my life in trust, faith, love and the joy of knowing you are present wherever I look. I love you, Lord. In your name, I pray. Amen.

So many things I have asked of You, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, but this I implore of You, I ask it earnestly. Take it, place it in your open Heart, present it to the Father wrapped in your precious blood. Let it no longer be my prayer, but yours. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you. I know I won´t be disappointed. Amen.

Daily Prayer intentions for June 22.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, come into my life, my mind, my heart and my spirit. Give me the strength never to lose the hope that seems to have withered away through the various bad experiences I have lived. I trust that your breath of life will breathe into me and restore that hope so that I can look at the world with appreciation
