The Sacred Heart of Jesus is deservedly considered the principal sign and symbol of that Trinitarian Love with which the divine Redeemer unceasingly loves his eternal Father, the Holy Spirit and all humanity. Today we want to ask this Heart to bless each and every one of us, all the families, our parish, our country and the whole world. Bless our daily work, our jobs, our enterprises, our times of joy and sharing. In the daily prayer for June 26, we cry out to God for his protection and blessing for the families and couples of today.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, help us to honor and serve You with all our heart. Help us to live our daily lives in a spirit of true concern for others and deep gratitude to you. In the midst of all our trials and tribulations, we will remember that you are always with us. You are our greatest friend and ally. You walk beside us, you give us hope, you correct our faults, you enlighten our doubts and you protect us from the evil enemy.

For the daily devotion for June 26, we ask this Heart for a blessing and protection for all the couples and families of the world.

To the Sacred Heart of Jesus...

The Sacred Heart is our best ally in the spiritual battle. In the daily prayer for June 26, we ask this compassionate Heart to minister to each and every couple and family in the world.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, at this moment we place in your powerful hands all the couples and families. We pray that you will send angels to surround their homes and protect them from any enemies who might want to take away the peace and unity in their homes

We praise You, Father, for all Creation under which You have made us stewards, including that sacred bond of Marriage. Every gift from you is good and perfect. There is nothing that compares to You, Most High God. And that is why we ask for Your protection and Your blessing for all households today.

Reach out your loving hand to restore those marriages that have allowed the enemy to seep into their relationship, tearing them apart on the inside through each spouse´s own unhealed wounds. Please do not allow them to remain without the grace of marriage. Help them to understand that their marriage is their best life project and give them life, love and strength and wisdom so that they can restore it.

Heal those broken marriages that have been hurt due to lack of understanding and empathy. Only you have the power to heal that inner place where those families and those marriages were broken. Heal the rancor, heal the anger, the bitterness, the resentment, the hatred, the desire for revenge, the selfishness, the indifference that they had and any other issue that prevents them from realizing themselves as a couple. Eradicate all pride from their hearts so that they can transform some separation into a renewed and more solid union.

Give wisdom to those couples who are just beginning their relationship, so that they can make the best decisions for their family and their future projects together. Protect their minds from being deceived by the enemy. Protect their hearts from being hardened by lack of patience. It protects their thoughts from seeking comfort from others when difficulties start to creep in.

We also invoke You, O mighty Archangel St. Raphael, who are great intercessors for marriages, to help break those hearts of stone with which they did not know how to love each other in good times and in bad, and make them tender so that they may recognize that both are weak, but that together they can achieve many things.

Help the spouses to understand that they were made one, that they are one team to face the challenges. Let them understand their role in protecting each other and not allowing others to invade their privacy or put their family´s decisions above those of their spouse.

May that burning fire of your Sacred Heart, Lord, purify and strengthen all couples to walk in your direction and be a living example of your love. May each spouse know that, by fully believing in You, they will receive in their marriage all the wisdom and spiritual understanding necessary to come out of any conflict. May they love You first and then know how to love each other better.

Father, we know that You have good and holy plans for marriages, for all families, plans for prosperity, loaded with blessings and with a future full of hope. Therefore, crush the plans and temptations of the Devil to want to destroy what You have united. Guide couples to paths of peace so that they can always glorify You in word and deed. Amen.

I know I won´t be disappointed. Amen.
