Daily Prayer for June 20, 2020, saturday.
Father of goodness, I open my heart to you now to show you all that I have within me. I know that you know beforehand what is happening to me; but in the same way I give it into your healing hands because by talking to you I feel the relief on my soul. I have been hurt so many times. There is so much pain around me and within me. I feel that a gray layer of sadness surrounds me and does not allow me to visualize those dreams I once had.
Free me, O Lord, from my lack of faith, from that fear, pain and anxiety. Help me to give myself into your soft hands, those hands that know how to caress my soul and give me hope. Break down those walls of suffering that separate my heart from yours and do not allow me to love as I should.
Increase my faith and trust in you my Lord. I take refuge in the arms of my Mother, my sweet Mary, so that she may give me the comfort I need to reach You and love You with all my heart. I give you everything of me, you will know how to make amends for what is lacking and bring joy back to my heart.
O Lord, show me your ways, take me by the hand, give me the breath of life and fill me with your joy. Heal me, purify me and give me wisdom to become aware of all that pleases you and never allow sin to separate me from your goodness. I am your beloved child, I am in the center of your sight. So here, I ask you Father, heal me of all the deep wounds that have left traces of pain in me and give me liberation and peace.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, in You I trust my routine, I trust You with my attitudes and my answers. I want to give the best of myself, so that others may know that, through my actions, You live within me. I love You
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Holy Virgin Mary, be my support and my guide.
Holy Virgin Mary, be the salvation of my soul.
Today´s reflection, saturday, June 20, 2020
I like to see holiness in God´s patient people: in the parents who raise their children with such love, in those men and women who work to bring bread home, in the sick, in the elderly nuns who continue to smile. In this constancy to go on day by day, I see the holiness of the Church militant. That is often the holiness "next door", of those who live close to us and are a reflection of God´s presence, or, to use another expression, "the middle class of holiness
