Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Daily prayer for June 15

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus finds its summit in the Holy Mass where we raise our hearts to the Lord. We unite our hearts to the Heart of Jesus in the offering of the Eucharistic sacrifice. We pray in the daily prayer for June 15 for the healing of the emotional wounds that continue to trouble our lives. The Heart of Christ is able to heal us if we open ourselves to its healing.

Daily Devotion for June, 15.

If you want to see miracles in your life and grow deeply in your spiritual life, cultivate devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The month of June is a month in which this devotion is intensely practiced. Some wonderful practices include praying the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, making a consecration to the Sacred Heart, or having the image of the Sacred Heart enthroned in your home. When we approach this merciful Heart, we can begin to live the great mystery of our faith in a more relevant way. Our hearts learn meekness, humility, mercy and love.

Daily Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

For the daily prayer of June 15th we humbly present ourselves to give to God those burdens that we have carried for so long and which we have not been able to overcome. Emotional wounds from childhood for which we seek healing.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I come into your presence now, and I ask you to cover me with that tender love you have for everyone. I place myself under your authority and I want to give you life, from my childhood until now.

I give myself to you my God, body, soul and spirit. I give you my heart, in every way, including the broken places in me, those emotional wounds that were harvested over time and have come to bring me pain in the present. You made my heart and I trust you can heal it

"I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and we will have dinner together. (Revelation 3:20).

The truth is, there are many broken places within my heart. Stay with me, heal my wounds. Wrap me in your mantle of light. You are able to restore all that I believe lost.

I invite you to dwell within me. I open the doors of my life to stay as long as necessary to close this wound. I give you full access to my heart. Reveal to me everything that is happening inside me, what I have to do to be restored.

Come my God and guide me in my healing process. My heart is broken, I know; but I also know that You can reveal Yourself with power.

Forgive me for the ways I have mishandled my life and made bad decisions. Now I trust that only you will make me live safely. Cleanse my heart and carry me in Your arms from now on. Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, on this day I want you to help me heal those deep wounds in my heart that need to be healed so I can love fully.
