Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Daily prayer for June 25

The Love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was reflected long before the birth of the Son of God was revealed to the world. We can appreciate this through the words of the prophet Hosea, who already beforehand, showed the tenderness of this loving Heart: "When Israel was a child I loved him, out of Egypt I called my son. But it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, who took them in my arms; but they did not recognize that I cared for them. I drew them in with human ties, with bonds of love; I clothed them as one who lifts a child upon his cheek; I bowed down to him and fed him. (Hosea 11:1,3) In the daily prayer for June 25, we cry out to God for protection from all evil that might attempt to separate us from His love.

God´s love is so tender and compassionate that it persists, even in spite of man´s infidelity, and never departs from his heart, but still ardently desires to live within humanity. This love is the very cornerstone of the New Covenant, with which Jesus manifested his salvation to us.

To the Sacred Heart of Jesus...

All the decisions you make in your life, the projects, the paths you choose, put them in God´s hands. In the daily prayer for June 25, we ask the Sacred Heart for protection against all evil in all areas of our life.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, You have assured me of Your blessing and Your protection at all times. You have promised me that, as long as I follow Your commands and have as my center the Truth of Your words, nothing can break me. And if I take refuge under the shadow of your wings, you will protect me and guide me, you will keep me on your right path because it will be my strength.

No matter where I go, thy hand will be my support, thou wilt be before me and behind me, thou wilt be above me and below me, on my right and on my left, within me and in my heart. You will give me protection in the midst of difficult trials. In the power of your Holy Spirit, you will be present giving me the support I need to cross the dark valleys.

I ask You not only for protection for me but also for my entire family. Give us protection from all the evils that lurk nearby and from those who seek to harm us. Free us from the influences of the evil spirits that haunt the air, the darkness, the width and the depth. Give us the assurance that we are warm in your arms.

Keep us safe, Lord. Give us refuge in the sacred wound of Your Heart. Put a safety fence around us. May every step we take, we take with the certainty that You will protect our footsteps. Watch over our entrances and exits.

O beloved Father, fill our hearts with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Overflow us with that joy of feeling protected. Thank you, Lord, thank you, for being our refuge and our strength in weakness. Thank you for being our unshakable Rock of strength. You are my immediate help, my impenetrable castle. I count on you Lord, on your love. I know you will provide an invisible shield of strength with which nothing will make me fear.

I trust, Lord, I trust in your protection. Though the earth be removed, though walls fall to my right and to my left, though the heavens tremble and the mountains be carried away to the sea, I will have no fear. Your heavenly protection has come upon me and my home and I will never be defeated again. Amen

Lord Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the human race, we turn to your Most Sacred Heart with humility and trust, with reverence and hope, with a deep desire to give you glory, honor and praise. Lord Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, we thank you for all that you are and all that you do. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, we praise You for the love You have revealed through Your Sacred Heart, which was pierced for us and has become the source of our joy, the source of our eternal life. Gathered together in Your name, which is above every name, we consecrate ourselves to Your Most Sacred Heart, in which dwells the fullness of truth and charity. By consecrating ourselves to You, we the faithful (person or place) renew our desire to correspond with love to the rich outpouring of Your merciful and full love. Lord Jesus Christ, King of Love and Prince of Peace, reigns in our hearts and in our homes. Overcome all the powers of the evil one and lead us to participate in the victory of your Sacred Heart. O Heart of Jesus, at this moment I give myself to you and put all my trust in your love. I fear everything from my weakness, but I expect everything from your goodness. So many things I have asked of You, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, but this I implore of You, I ask it earnestly. Take it, place it in your open Heart, present it to the Father wrapped in your precious blood. Let it no longer be my prayer, but yours. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you. I know I won´t be disappointed. Amen.
