Reading for tuesday. Daily gospel
Micah 7:14-15,18-2
With shepherd´s crook, O Lord, lead your people to pasture, the flock that is your heritage, living confined in a forest with meadow land all around. Let them pasture in Bashan and Gilead as in the days of old. As in the days when you came out of Egypt grant us to see wonders. What god can compare with you: taking fault away, pardoning crime, not cherishing anger for ever but delighting in showing mercy? Once more have pity on us, tread down our faults, to the bottom of the sea throw all our sins. Grant Jacob your faithfulness, and Abraham your mercy, as you swore to our fathers from the days of long ago.
Daily Psalm for tuesday.
Psalm 84(85):2-8
"Let us see, O Lord, your mercy" (R).
O Lord, you once favoured your land and revived the fortunes of Jacob, you forgave the guilt of your people and covered all their sins. You averted all your rage, you calmed the heat of your anger. (R).
Revive us now, God, our helper! Put an end to your grievance against us. Will you be angry with us for ever, will your anger never cease? (R).
Will you not restore again our life that your people may rejoice in you?
Let us see, O Lord, your mercy and give us your saving help. (R).
Daily Gospel Acclamation.

Daily Gospel for july 21. Matthew 12:46-50.
Daily Gospel reading for tuesday, july 21 (The true family of Jesus): "At that time, Jesus was speaking to the crowds when his mother and his brothers appeared; they were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. But to the man who told him this Jesus replied, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?" And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother.".
Daily Gospel reflection by Pope Francis.
"Knowing how to listen to God as Mary did"
In the reading of the daily Gospel, we observe that Jesus tells us: "Those who hear the word of God put it into practice". These are the two conditions for following Jesus: listening to the Word of God and putting it into practice.
This is the Christian life, nothing else, eh! Simple, simple. Perhaps we have made it a little difficult, with so many explanations that nobody understands, but the Christian life is like that: to listen to the Word of God and to put it into practice. This is why Jesus replied to the one who referred him that his relatives were looking for him:
"My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and put it into practice."
And to hear the Word of God, the Word of Jesus is enough to open the Bible, the Gospel. But these pages should not be read, but listened to.
To listen to the Word of God is to read that and say: "But what is this saying to me, to my heart? What is God saying to me, with this word? And our life changes.
Every time we do this, we open the Gospel, we read a passage and ask ourselves: "With this God speaks to me, does He say something to me, and if He says something, what does He say to me," that is to hear the Word of God, to hear it with the ears and to hear it with the heart. Open your heart to the Word of God.
[...] To put into practice what you have heard is not easy, because it is easier to live quietly without worrying about the demands of the Word of God. Concrete ways to do this are the Commandments, the Beatitudes.
Always counting on the help of Jesus, even when our heart listens and pretends not to understand. He is merciful and forgives everyone, he waits for everyone, because he is patient.
[...] The Lord always sows his word, he only asks for an open heart to listen to it and good will to put it into practice. This is why the prayer of the Psalm: "Lead me, Lord, in the path of your commandments", that is, in the path of your Word, and so that I may learn with your guidance to put it into practice. (Daily Gospel reflection, Saint Martha, September 23, 2014)
Daily Gospel Prayer.
Lord, thank you for having left me your Mother, she is my companion on the road, my morning star, the greatest of your disciples. I hope that I, following the faithful example of Mary, may also imitate you in all your virtues, love you and be one of those who work for your Kingdom. (Healing with prayer daily gospel)
The Pope´s daily quotation.
"The Holy Spirit, when we invite Him into our wounds, anoints the bad memories with the balm of hope, because He rebuilds hope. (Pope Francis, 9.3.2019)
