Daily prayer for September 6.

Father of mercy and love, thank you for coming into my life to rescue me, just when I felt that all was lost. Thank you, Father, for finding me, healing me and comforting me when I needed it most. I beg you to put order in my life. Provide me with the resources I need so that I can achieve my purposes. Thank you, Lord because your Presence and your love fill me with your peace. Amen

Reading for Sunday. Daily gospel

First Reading for daily Gospel: Reading from the book of the Prophet Ezekiel 33:7-9

The word of the Lord was addressed to me as follows: "Son of man, I have appointed you as sentry to the House of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, warn them in my name. If I say to a wicked man: Wicked wretch, you are to die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked man to renounce his ways, then he shall die for his sin, but I will hold you responsible for his death. If, however, you do warn a wicked man to renounce his ways and repent, and he does not repent, then he shall die for his sin, but you yourself will have saved your life."

Daily Psalm for Sunday.

Psalm 94(95):1-2,6-9.

"O that today you would listen to his voice! Harden not your hearts." (R).

Come, ring out our joy to the Lord; hail the rock who saves us. Let us come before him, giving thanks, with songs let us hail the Lord. (R).

Come in; let us bow and bend low; let us kneel before the God who made us: for he is our God, and we the people who belong to his pasture, the flock that is led by his hand. (R).

O that today you would listen to his voice! "Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as on that day at Massah in the desert when your fathers put me to the test; when they tried me, though they saw my work." (R).

Second reading for September 6.

Romans 13:8-10.

Avoid getting into debt, except the debt of mutual love. If you love your fellow men you have carried out your obligations. All the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, and so on, are summed up in this single command: You must love your neighbour as yourself. Love is the one thing that cannot hurt your neighbour; that is why it is the answer to every one of the commandments.

Daily Gospel Acclamation.

"Alleluia, alleluia! God in Christ was reconciling the world to himself, and he has entrusted to us the news that they are reconciled. Alleluia" (Cfr. 2 Co 5:19)

Daily Gospel for September 6. Matthew 18:15-20.

Daily Gospel reading for Sunday, September 6 (God is always among us when we gather in His Name): "At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: "If your brother does something wrong, go and have it out with him alone, between your two selves. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you: the evidence of two or three witnesses is required to sustain any charge. But if he refuses to listen to these, report it to the community; and if he refuses to listen to the community, treat him like a pagan or a tax collector. "I tell you solemnly, whatever you bind on earth shall be considered bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth shall be considered loosed in heaven. "I tell you solemnly once again, if two of you on earth agree to ask anything at all, it will be granted to you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three meet in my name, I shall be there with them." ".

Daily Gospel reflection by Pope Francis.

"Where two or three meet in the name of Jesus, there is God.".

In the reading of the daily Gospel, I urge you to care for each other with love, especially the weakest. (...) is a demanding path, along which a brother or sister may encounter unforeseen difficulties.

In these cases, the exercise of patience and mercy by the community is a sign of maturity in faith. The freedom of each one should not be forced, and the eventual choice of those who decide to seek other forms of Christian life outside the Way, which will help them grow in their response to the Lord´s call, should also be respected.

Through the reading of today´s Gospel, dear families, dear brothers and sisters, I encourage you to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere, even to the most de-Christianized environments, especially on the periphery of existence.

Evangelize with love, bring God´s love to all. Tell those whom you meet on the paths of your mission that God loves man as he is, even with his limitations, with his errors, even with his sins. This is why he sent his Son, so that he could take upon himself our sins. Be messengers and witnesses of the infinite goodness and inexhaustible mercy of the Father (Daily Gospel reflection. Saint Martha, February 1,2014.)

Daily Prayer for Gospel.

My Lord and my God, thank you for the strength you give me every day to get things done when I feel discouraged. Your Word is strength and relief for the soul. It is a Word that nourishes our desires and fills our lives with hope. O my God, help me to understand that, with You, everything is possible, that I can face any challenge in life without fear, because from Your hand, I can triumph and move forward. Come and fill me with your mercy to bring my brothers closer to you, so that they may know the grace of feeling your Presence and that their love may always fill them with many blessings. Amen. (Healing with prayer daily gospel)

The Pope´s daily quotation.

"Only when we experience God´s forgiveness are we truly reborn. Forgiveness allows us to begin again; there we find ourselves: in the confession of our sins." Pope Francis.

Purpose for daily Gospel.

To make an effort to apologize to my family, to those at home, and if I have to ask for an apology, not to let another day go by without doing so. Forgiving and asking for forgiveness is a courageous act.
