Daily Prayer for April 2. The Holy Spirit wants to dwell in you

Pray the daily prayer for April 2, through which we have recourse to the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit so that, in addition to His consolations, He may bring peace and strength to our lives darkened by this epidemic we are experiencing. A test of faith from which we must discern what things we must learn from all this.

The Holy Spirit is our friend and spiritual advisor, our compass for getting to Heaven. We must let Him guide us through all the circumstances we go through in the day. We are not alone in this misfortune, the sacred fire of the Spirit wants to lead us on paths of peace and protect us, but we must open ourselves up to Him with confidence.

The gift of the Holy Spirit, which God has sent to all believers, reminds us that we can achieve everything and overcome everything

"And this hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit he has given us. (Romans 5:5)

Time for the daily prayer.

In the daily prayer for April 2, we want to express our trust in the Father through the Holy Spirit.

When we go through great difficulties like a pandemic of death, in a world that was already quite hostile, we feel that our hope is being torn apart, that our faith is beginning to waver. Countless doubts haunt us and we begin to wonder if God cares about what we are going through. Where is God when I need Him? Perhaps God wants to teach me something by this? Is He correcting me? King Solomon reminds us that God uses a few things to bring his beloved children back into the fold because of the love they have lost sight of.

"For the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father disciplines a son who delights." (Proverbs 3:12)

Even in the midst of confusion, God stays with us and uses those challenges to shape us. He does not leave us alone, but sends us the great comforter of souls: the Holy Spirit of power and love. It is difficult what I am going to ask of you, but I believe that it is something necessary for every Christian:

• No longer see this situation as a great failure.
• Don´t see that bad weather as the postponement of your blessings.
• Don´t look at that circumstance that has paralyzed your life as the end of your journey.

Let´s see all this as moments in which God wants to manifest Himself with power in our lives and in which He has a great miracle prepared for the end. Without a doubt, God is our loving Father and He works in us and in every problem in ways that we do not know. Put yourself in the presence of the Holy Spirit and let yourself be embraced by his Divine consolation.

Daily Prayer for April 2.

Holy art thou Lord, God of heaven and earth, of all creation and all that thou hast given us. I want to thank you, my Father, for remaining by my side to take care of me, to protect me and to help me in my daily struggles, especially in those that are beyond my capabilities.

Today I want to ask you to send me the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit to bring peace to my life and my heart in this moment of anguish that I feel is robbing me of my reason.

Make me feel completely your mercy Lord, may the burning fire of that Spirit help me to walk confidently through these shadows of death that girdle around me, threatening my life, my projects and my purposes by the side of my loved ones.

Holy Spirit of strength, help me to be calm, to count on those forces that come from you to move forward. I do not want to have unstable feelings in front of situations that make me lose my calm. Be my greatest refuge, the person to whom I can turn to calm my troubled heart.

I know that your love covers me, O Holy Spirit of love, and you are everywhere at once. I thank and praise you for maintaining that relationship with me, even though I feel I do not deserve you; but the Father´s mercy escapes my understanding and does not leave me alone in times of crisis.

Going through all these moments with you, I think it is the most impressive experience I have ever had. I have been able to feel a closer and more loving relationship with the Father and every day I am filled more with that hope of finding happiness beyond all this.

You are so generous and loving with me, my Father, you hear my prayers, you know my fears. When I seek you, I know I will find you. You are the King of the whole Universe and at the same time my best friend. How great you are to manifest yourself through this blessed Holy Spirit.

Thank you, Holy Spirit of power and love, thank you for loving me, for coming to pour out your consolations and filling me with your gifts. Thank you for watching over my family and speaking in my life in a special way every time I have recourse to you. I love you.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, you are a shield of fire for all who turn to you for compassion. Have mercy on me, free me from my anxiety, my fears and everything that disturbs me.
